It’s been about a month since anything has really been going on so I decided to head out to Long Beach to check out the Formula Drift event and meet up with some friends. Yuta has started his job at HKS USA already and was back in town for the weekend to work their booth at FD. I fully intended to get a bunch of FD footage and to show you guys all the cool stuff there but honestly I found myself spending time with friends more than anything and there really wasn’t too much new stuff at FD to showcase. A lot of the drift cars were roped off so we couldn’t get too close to them and the show car section had the usual suspects we’ve all come to see at every show. Since I didn’t have enough coverage for one whole video, and there wasn’t much going on the following weekend, I thought it’d be cool to throw a little meet. A lot of people were out of town for Coachella, our friend Takeshi was in town for work from Japan, and the weather has been fantastic lately, so I got together with Duane from RCompound USA and we decided to throw an early morning car meet known as “CARCHELLA”…
