Let’s jump right into the coverage today folks! Thanks to everyone for all the crazy amount of support and ordering all that stuff from the storefront! I’m actually gonna try to go through most of them today and make sure that stuff goes out to everyone before I leave for New York in the coming weeks. It’s still a one-man operation over here as it has always been so things can stack up sometimes. I really appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. Today, I have some more photos for you guys from the Los Angeles Wekfest event that happened a couple weeks ago. These are still photos captured from the roll-in portion of the show, which happened on Saturday before the show happened. By this time, most of the car show exhibitors had exited the building and only the Wekfest staff was left behind. This gave me plenty of time and space to shoot without interference from passerby’s so I shot as much as I could before we left the venue for dinner. I think there were still some cars rolling in pretty late but LA Convention Center is pretty strict about their schedule and some people even had to come back the next day because the gate shut. Actually, looking through the photos now, about half of them are from Saturday. The rest are from the morning of the show, where we had a 1-hour window for people who couldn’t make it to set-up the day before. I think it’ll be pretty obvious to you guys because, well, you’ll see cars outside, lol. Anyways, enjoy the shots. Part 4, which is the finale, is pretty good too. I didn’t shoot much during the afternoon of the show because I was super busy with everything else but at the end of the day, I made sure to go outside to catch some of the cars leaving, and the lighting was pretty great so it made for some good photos. Keep an eye out for that in the next few days. For now, check out the third installment and have a good evening or day, depending on when you guys see this. Enjoy!…
Robert from West Collective seems to always have really good decision-making ability when it comes to proper wheels and sizing. Last year he popped-up at Wekfest with a 16/17-inch staggered Mugen set-up and this year, he showed-up to the LA Convention Center running a set of 16-inch TEs in the front, barely clearing his front brakes, and a pair of concave 17-inch TEs in the rear. The car is so simple but this is another prime example of how ride height and wheel choice make or break a car build…
Another angle of the NSX, here you can see the difference in the front and rear wheels. For those that aren’t familiar, NSXs traditionally run a 16/17 stagger from the factory so it’s not like Robert is doing anything outrageous, he’s just doing it right….

Ira Alani Fouquette’s wild 2009 Acura TSX build from Nokturnal CC. Definitely not your traditional Honda build you’d see at an event like this but Ira’s been around for a long time and has taken a completely unique route with this TSX. You can say it is more on the Lowrider-side of styling inside and out, particularly in the paint and engraving details, but it also hosts very traditional Japanese aftermarket parts. Very cool build that probably isn’t to everyone’s liking, but you can certainly appreciate all the work that went into it…
Inside the smoothed-out and painted engine bay is a supercharged K-series engine that is tuned and fully-functional. The front strut brace has been custom engraved, along with the intake pipe, and the rest of the components have either been chromed or polished…

One of the finest builds in the building was Alex Alfaro’s 1997 Acura Integra Type R, running Ganador mirrors, 94-97 Mugen front lip, Mugen sides, Mugen Gen. II rear wing, and even a rare Crowhouse rear bumper, which I unfortunately did not get a shot of…
If the oddball wheels look familiar to you, they should, as they resemble the classic Mugen M7 wheel. What they actually are, are +Sure MD7 wheels. +Sure, pronounced “Sure Plus”, are the original manufacturers of the Mugen M7 wheel, thus the similarities in overall design. The only discerning differences are the center cap and the lack of an engraved section for the Mugen logo. Not sure how Alex acquired them, I’m sure I could just ask him the next time I see him, but it’s unlikely you will see another set around in 2018…
Amazing to see these wheels that have so much history behind them. Also crazy to think that Alex cruises around on these things like it’s completely normal…
KJ from San Diego took off his Rando kit for the WFLA event and decided to run a simpler JDM front bumper paried with a carbon replacement ITR front lip…
H22-powered Civic hatchback running a M&M Honda Hyper widebody kit and Rays wheels. Had a chance to talk to the owner for a bit and he says he might do a full color-change soon…
Tan Tran’s K24-powered right-hand drive Midori Green Civic running some J’s Racing products and Volk TEs…
Ferny’s Voltex Evolution wearing a complete vinyl wrap inspired by the Supreme Season FW17 Brooklyn Camo design…
It’s camouflaged obviously but if you squint your eyes, there’s a Voltex Evo in the photo somewhere…
Sang Pham’s turbocharged J’s Racing GT widebody S2000 is looking great these days, nice and low on Volk TE37 Ultra…
Pretty cool to see this turbocharged Honda Beat make an appearance at Wekfest LA. Had a chance to chat with the owner and he oddly resembles Kristian Wong from Battlecraft in both appearance and personality. Also like him in his quirkiness and willingness to do weird stuff with cars. It was surprising to see how many parts had to be retrofitted to this car to make it this way, including suspension parts like arms from an Accord, Civic brakes, and more…
Also notice how huge the 326power rear wing looks on the tiny Beat…
Beautiful Porsche 964 hammered to the ground on BBS wheels…
Jeremy Allgier has one of the best Prelude builds around and I actually got a rare photo of it with the carbon hood on, considering how he usually goes hoodless at events to showcase his ARC-themed engine bay…
Jonny Grunwald’s Lucky 7 Racing 13B-REW powered TCP Magic widebody FD3S RX-7…
John Liwanag escorting Ferny’s Supreme-inspired Voltex Evo to its parking spot within the show…
A couple of Lexus LS builds presenting Central Pine…
Central Pine’s Lexus 3GS on complete T-Demand suspension and SSR Minerva wheels, which have recently been re-released…
Also running T-Demand Prodamper suspension components was this two-toned LS400 owned by Ayeeejayyy tucking Work Emitz wheels…

Two very different builds entering the LA Convention Center, one completely custom and the other classically styled…
And so we end Part 3 here with a shot of this white Integra, kissing the ground on Work Ewing Fins…
Part 4 is a good one because it has some roll-out shots in it. Thanks for looking and please come back for the rest!…
